If you are interested in participating in the Rock Run please e-mail us at TheRockRun@gmail.com.  Please include the team and participants names as well as t-shirt size. Registration can also be done in person at the Pre-Race Meeting. Registration will be closed the day of the race.  The date of the race is yet to be determined for 2012, please check back soon.
 
Children's Beach is the location for the Pre-Race Meeting and the Start of the Race for Soloists and Leg 1 Runners.  Runners for all other legs are required to arrange their own transportation to their respective hand-offs.
 
Race Fees:
Teams $200.00
Soloist $50.00
 
Checks can be made out to Fingerprints Corporation.  

A waiver will be issued at the meeting and all runners must sign the waiver to compete. T-Shirts will distributed at the Pre-Race Meeting after waivers and race fees are collected.  Please pre-register to ensure appropriate t-shirt count and sizes.
 
 
The Cobblestone Cup is awarded to the winning relay team for one year.  The cup MUST be returned by the Pre-Race Meeting the following year.

We require that all first leg runners be at the dock at Children's Beach by 7:30AM on the morning of the race.  If any runners are coming straight from the ferry, a team member needs to be present at the meeting point and ready to run in case their runner cannot make the start in time. For Soloist, the race starts at 6:00AM which requires lodging on the island the night prior. There are two ferries that arrive on Nantucket before race time and both ferries are within walking distance of the Children's Beach transport point.

        Race Rules
  1. Race director determines all route changes.
  2. Race director determines all penalties.
  3. All participants must be registered with a signed waiver.
  4. Race starts at 6AM for soloist and 8AM for teams.
  5. Runners must complete the leg they start.
  6. Runners must stay in close proximity to the water line.
  7. No trash on the course. You must return with everything you left with.
  8. If you abandon the course you must contact the race director immediately.
  9. Keep the water on your left.
  10. At least one member of every team must be at Pre-Race Meeting.
  11. This is a self supporting race.
  12. Have fun.
