Race Weekend
Friday, Aug 6th,
Pre-race meeting 6:00 PM
Children's Beach on Harbor View Rd
We will go over the course, sign any unsigned waivers, and hand out race bags and collect fees.
If you need transportation to any of the legs, here is where you are going to find it.
We request as many runners as possible show up for this meeting, but if you can not all make it, at least one person from each team should be present.
Saturday, August 7th,
Race starts at 8:00 AM sharp from Coatue
Important !
If you need transport to Coatue you must be at Children's Beach by 7:30 AM
Expected Splits
Below I have included a set of split averages from over the last few years. Get to your exchange point early ! Due to beach erosion on leg 4 the course might be shorter and times faster.
Start 8:00 AM
Leg 1 - Great Point
Runners start to arrive between 9:31 AM - 10:25 AM
Leg 2 - Sconset
Runners begin to arrive between 10:42 AM – 11:59 PM
Leg 3 - Surfside
Runners begin to arrive between 11:55 PM – 1:46 PM
Leg 4 - Madaket (Might be shorter due to erosion)
Runners begin to arrive between 1:27 PM – 3:45 PM
Leg 5 - Jetties
Runners finish between 2:37 Pm – 5:39 PM
Saturday Night
Post race party - TBA
Awards will be handed out, story time, and maybe a couple drinks
