The Rock Run is a 50 mile beach run, those who attempt it solo should expect a pretty grueling day. It is not suppose to be easy, if it was, their would be no pride in the accomplishment.

Stay Hydrated

 We provide water at all the exchange points and some of the more remote sections of the course, but if the sun is pumping you need to seriously consider carrying some water.

I recommend purchasing a Fuel Belt system. Fuel Belt makes an assortment of hydration belts to fit anyone's needs. They are affordable, comfortable and versatile. I suggest purchasing one now and train with it. That way you can work out any kinks before race day. The belts can be equipped with different size bottles, any number of bottles and small bottles designed to hold performance gels.
